Last week, I was talking with Peter and asked him how he thought this would turn out. "Well, the economic effects are going to be massive. It could be years before we recover..."
Ummm...I really should have specified. I should have asked, "How will this DINNER turn out?"
The effects of this virus are on everyone's mind. It's hard to get away from it. I've been through many cycles of "Enjoy this special family time" to "Momma needs a BREAK!".

I think my biggest struggle is letting things go. Yes, my 2 year old and I have the same life theme (thank you Elsa for the theme song...).
- I want to do home school well.
- I want to do work well.
- I want to support my husband by allowing him to focus on his work from home.
- I want a clean home.
- I want to not park my kids in front of the screen all day.
- I want to do the correct thing...whatever that may be.
- I want to be content in the moment and not stress about the unknowns.
sigh
While I have this little quiet moment (thank you unlimited screen time), I have to wonder, how is everyone else coping? Peter reassuringly tells me that everyone is freaking out, but I have to wonder "Am I the only one losing my mind?"
For now, I'll tickle the kids, I'll try to do one amazing home-school day a week, I'll check my work email, and I'll keep trying to go for a run (I'm gonna keep calling it a run, even though it becomes a walk at about 500 feet), and I'll keep going along.
If you're so inclined, I'd love to hear how you're coping. What are you losing your mind over or what are you doing to stay sane?
Please feel free to let me know that the best thing to do is eat ridiculous amounts of baked goods.
